| Prearranged accommodation is guaranteed for all AustraLearn participants attending a semester abroad, year abroad, summer study abroad program, and January short-term program, internship, or GAP program. The housing optio ns vary by program, location, and university. Semester/Year Abroad Programs AustraLearn guarantees prearranged accommodation for all semester and year abroad programs. Prearranged accommodation may be located on campus in a residence hall (“residential college”) or in an apartment near campus. Housing is available with or without meals depending upon the institution. Arranging your own accommodation upon arrival is also an option at most universities. LEARN MORE> Summer or January Short-Term Programs All short courses include housing (accommodation) in the fees. Housing varies widely from program to program, but typically would be in either on-campus university dormitories or flats (apartments), motels/hotels, hostels, or some combination of each. LEARN MORE> Internship Programs AustraLearn pre-arranges housing for interns prior to arrival and the housing cost is included in the program fees (meals not included). Housing for the internship program varies with each intake and the internship locations that we offer. LEARN MORE> GAP Program AustraLearn will pre-arrange accommodation for all GAP Program participants at the Queenstown Resort College campus apartments. Degree Programs AustraLearn does not pre-arrange housing for degree students, however, you will receive adequate advice and information from the university you choose to attend about arranging housing independently. |
