Interested in a career in study abroad and international education? If you have an interest in working in the field of education either in study abroad or one of the many other facets of the field including the role of global ambassador, immigration specialist, faculty, admissions, etc., you can take the enCompass Program one step further... and apply for the AustraLearn "Alumni of the Year" Award. This is a unique opportunity that will offer you the chance to learn more about the field of international education and decide if this is the direction you wish to pursue. The recipient of this Award will earn a trip to the national NAFSA conference, and be recognized at the annual AustraLearn Affiliate Advisor Luncheon during the conference. During the conference, you'll have the opportunity to shadow experienced AustraLearn staff, network with international education professionals, assist at AustraLearn's exhibition booth, and take on a potential project. AustraLearn will cover the expenses of airfare to Minneapolis, hotel accommodation for three nights, and conference registration. The recipient will be responsible for meals, transport to/from airport, and other personal expenses. The annual national NAFSA conference is held in May of each year, and it gives international educators a chance to network, learn the latest trends of the field, and enhance their own professional development.
