| The enCompass Program has FIVE basic methods for staying involved in study abroad and encouraging others to see the world in a similar way. Within each method, there are various activities you can complete. AustraLearn will recognize your achievements for completing at least 9 out of the 16 activities through the enCompass Program Rewards (see below). We encourage you to complete the activities within 6-8 months after you return from being abroad. METHODS FOR ENCOMPASSING YOUR EXPERIENCE: Promote study abroad in person - on your campus or in your community (4 activities) READ MORE> 1. Host an information table 2. Host an information session 3. Do a presentation in front of one or more classes/student organizations 4. Attend a study abroad or degree fair with an AustraLearn Representative Advise future participants - help them choose where to study and provide advice (3 activities) READ MORE> 1. Join the Alumni Referral List 2. Write a letter to a typical student about to leave on the study abroad program 3. Attend a pre-departure session held by your study abroad office Share your stories and adventures through self-expression (2 activities) READ MORE> 1. Submit a photo or piece of artwork 2. Submit a journal entry, essay, poem, article, or story Teach AustraLearn more about your experience (3 activities) READ MORE> 1. Complete the online AustraLearn Program Evaluation 2. Fill out AustraLearn’s online survey about your study abroad experience 3. Be a Study Abroad Consultant for AustraLearn Invest in your own international future (4 activities) READ MORE> 1. Visit the career services office at your home university 2. Let AustraLearn evaluate your resume 3. Attend a re-entry presentation, conference, or workshop at your university 4.
