| Nearly all of the universities in Australia and New Zealand offer a small number of scholarships. Scholarships are merit based meaning a reward for work well-done, and thus usually given after a student arrives at university. We encourage you to apply, but remember they are very competitive. Students should not plan to consider a scholarship as a major source of funding. Scholarships offered by the universities should be applied for at the time of application and included in the application materials you send to AustraLearn. Some scholarship resources are provided below and students will be sent further scholarship information after their admissions application is received in our office. We encourage students to consider other information sources to locate scholarships such as your library, bookstore, internet, local service organizations such as Rotary or Knights of Columbus, and professional organizations in your area and home country which may offer scholarships.
