| As an international student, you are expected to have all financing accounted for before departure and in some cases must verify this information in order to be granted an immigration visa. Some expenses such as airfare, visa application fees, a tuition deposit equivalent to one semester’s tuition (a year in some cases), and housing deposits will need to be paid upfront. U.S. Financial Aid and Canada Student Loan monies are not given until you confirm your enrolment on campus so consider short-term financing options to cover these expenses until your loan monies are received. AustraLearn will send more detailed information about the financial aid application process once we receive your application(s). Tuition Fees Tuition fees vary depending on the degree program, and university chosen, and the following should be used only as a guide. The university’s prospectus/website will provide more specific tuition figures. It is recommended students allow $10,000 – 16,000 USD/CAD per year for living costs such as rent, food, local transportation, utilities, and personal necessities (i.e., toothpaste).
