| The health and safety of all our participants is of the utmost concern. Our in-country support team of Resident Directors is available 24 hours a day for support of students, parents, and advisors. In addition, the U.S. office of AustraLearn is well equipped with its own 24-emergency number, emergency and response plan, and provision of adequate health and emergency insurance for all its participants. Student Welfare Services staff are available 24/7 and the full-time Student Relations Manager is on call 24 hours a day to gives all students and visitors to QRC the orientation and assistance they need to succeed. If students have a work, academic or personal problems the Student Relations Manager is always available to help. Parents can also speak with QRC staff 24/7 for an update regarding their student.  New Zealand's Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students was established by The Ministry of Education. It provides a set of expectations that define minimum standards for the delivery of personal care, accommodation and information supplied to international students. All education providers that enroll international students must follow the standards of this code. QRC and AustraLearn as a program provider meet all its legislative requirements. |
