| As an AustraLearn participant, you will be directly enrolled as an undergraduate student in a university in Australia. This allows you to take advantage of every opportunity to be involved in the campus environment and culture by participating in university activities with resident Australian students as well as other international students. In addition to the STA Travel Tours available to you through AustraLearn, the International Office at each university typically sets up weekend excursions and social events throughout the semester for all international students. These activities allow you to meet other students while doing something fun or visiting a great destination, often at a discounted price. Some examples of activities are harbor cruises, movie nights, sporting matches, and organized surf lessons. Be sure to refer to the “Special Programs/Excursions” page of each university profile to learn more about some of the opportunities available to you.
