| All campus services and facilities normally available to Australian students will be available to you. Unlike some overseas study programs which group visiting students together in separate courses and accommodations, AustraLearn enrolls you directly at the Australian university so that you can fully enjoy the culture. Services of the university include cademic assistance, personal counseling, health-related aid, religious services, overseas student advising, legal aid, and student government. As a full-time student at the campus, you will become a member of the Student Association that normally coordinates social, academic, sporting, and cultural events for its members. Involvement in various activities may help you tomeet and interact with other local students. Sporting activities vary from rugby, cricket, and Australian Rules Football to water skiing, rock climbing, and Tae Kwon Do. Dance groups, choir, debate, and theater groups are also active on most campuses or in the local community. You may find that most of your sporting activities are found in the local community and participation is on a casual basis - this means you are welcome to play! AustraLearn alumni have highly recommended joining student clubs as a means of meeting Australian students. |
