Established in 1951, the University has a student population of over 15,000. The University is located in the city of Wollongong (pronounced ‘Wool-n-gong’), 50 miles south of Sydney. The main campus is situated at the base of Mt Keira, with many buildings on campus boasting views of the Pacific Ocean.
